Summary   In the blog post titled "EDN419 SITE" I have shared lots of article, reflection paper, excursion video, write-up and few pictures too. So in this summarization paper I am going to share importance of each material I have uploaded in blog. I am not going to talk about introductory notes, ppt file, picture and video that are uploaded in blog because it was done as a practice in class.  I have uploaded two reflection paper on two different topic. I have uploaded reflection paper on article written by Yeshi Lhendup and other one on use of ICT educational tools in teaching and learning. One of the primary purposes of a reflection paper is to engage in self-reflection. With Grandma

Image
This is a picture of me and my grandmother face timing after very long time. I videocall my mother's phone to meet her because my grandma doesn't know how to accept and decline video-call other than phone calls. My grandmother often possess a wealth of knowledge about family history, cultural traditions, and historical events. Through video calls, I can learn about our family heritage, understand cultural practices, and gain insights into the past. This knowledge fosters a sense of identity, cultural appreciation, and a broader understanding of the world. She also instills values such as respect, appreciation for family, and the importance of maintaining relationships.  Video calls with grandmothers offer valuable educational benefits for children. These interactions enhance language development, cultural understanding, storytelling abilities, emotional intelligence, practical skills, and the intergenerational bond. They provide a rich source of knowledge, wisdom, and love, c...

Dance

Image
Dance is a form of expression that involves rhythmic movement of the body, often accompanied by music or other auditory stimuli. It has been an integral part of human culture for centuries and holds significant educational importance. This is a picture of me and my class boy's picture taken after our dance item during Teachers day on May 2. Dance is more than just a recreational activity; it is a valuable educational tool that promotes physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. Its inclusion in educational curricula can enhance the holistic growth of students and provide them with essential life skills that extend beyond the dance studio.

Reflection Paper (on the article related to ICT in education)

ICT in Education In today’s rapidly evolving world, the role of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in education has become increasingly prominent. ICT encompasses a wide range of digital tools and technologies that facilitate the acquisition, storage, processing, and dissemination of information. From computers and smartphones to the internet and educational software, ICT has revolutionized the way we teach and learn, transforming traditional classrooms into dynamic and interconnected learning environments. In this reflection paper I am going to talk about the article written by Yeshi Lhendup in Druk journals on topic “ICT in Bhutanese Education”. He talks about positive impact in Bhutanese people. He says “ICT Information and Communication Technology (ICT) has brought significant changes in almost all aspects of our lives — more so in recent years — and it is indeed developing faster than ever before”. He also state that during 14 convocation ceremony of Roya...

Critical Analysis of the Learning experiences

Analysis of the Learning experiences  The integration of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) in teaching and learning has undoubtedly transformed the educational landscape. While there are numerous benefits associated with using ICT in education, a critical analysis of the learning experience reveals both strengths and limitations that warrant careful consideration. One of the key strengths of ICT in teaching and learning is its ability to enhance student engagement and interactivity. Through the use of digital tools and platforms, students can actively participate in their learning process, exploring concepts through interactive simulations, multimedia resources, and educational apps. This hands-on approach fosters a deeper understanding of the subject matter and cultivates critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Moreover, the incorporation of multimedia elements such as videos, images, and audio in educational materials can make learning more engaging and...

Youth Participation

This is a picture of me participating during village's meeting. I am privilege to attend the meeting with opposition leader, Dasho Dorji Wangdi. He is a candidate from our constituent. I have good times sharing my concerns and suggestions for trying to bring my village better than ever. Participating in village meetings has significant educational benefits. It promotes knowledge sharing, awareness, civic education, problem-solving skills, networking, leadership development, and intergenerational learning. By actively engaging in these meetings, individuals can contribute to the educational growth and overall development of their village.
